Roll on Spring

I can't  wait for warmer Weather ,it's been so cold my poor old arthritic knees are really suffering.
I have a couple of finishes, and a couple of starts.
I made another pair of slipper socks blue this time.

This is the third and last pair of these I am knitting.

My lovely granddaughter is 10 today and I've made her this bunting to hang in her bedroom.

She loves it,but now I have to make them for the boys.Ive told them I will make them for their birthdays.

Traced the last panel of over the river.

Looking forward to starting this, out of black thread so will be next week before It gets started.
I have made a start on the Redwork bird houses though,

Block 2 of buttermilk basins mystery BOM
Love the simplicity of these blocks,I like  working with felt or wool.I am stitching mine on to calico ,they will all have the same calico background.

The birthday girl, only saw her for half hour, she was in a football tournament and was late getting home.
She's a cracking little footballer, absolutely loves the beautiful game.
Soon as I get the camera out she goes into these strange posing modes .lol
But she loves  her granny.
Me with the three of them ,I'm a very lucky girl,I absolutely love being a granny.

That's it....enjoy the rest of your week my friends.xxx

  3. So busy! Love those socks. Or remember when I broke my leg and damaged my knee my 96 yr old neighbor made me so knew warmers. I know I'm going to have trouble as I get older. Need to take up knittin. Happy birthday to Jayda. Double figures. Still adore that tracing - can't wait to see more when it's stitched. Roll on that warmer weather for you.
